Division I
123,512 – In the Matter of R.A.W., An Alleged Deprived Child, Ashley Worthington, Appellant/Petitioner, v. State of Oklahoma, Appellee/Respondent. Appeal from the District Court of Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Honorable Mary Ann Godsby, Trial Judge. In this termination of parental rights case, the trial court found there was clear and convincing evidence Mother’s parental rights to Child be terminated for failure to correct conditions which led to a deprived adjudication, and that there was clear and convincing evidence it was in Child’s best interest that her parental rights be terminated. Opinion by GOREE, J.; SWINTON, P.J., and BELL, J., concur. Oct. 20, 2026
Division II
Division III
123,517 – Raven Varnell, Petitioner/Appellee, v. Ryan Dawson, Respondent/Appellant. Appeal from the District Court of Creek County, Oklahoma. Honorable Laura Farris, Trial Judge. Appellant, Ryan Dawson (Father), appeals the trial court’s issuance of the Decree of Paternity. Father argues the parties previously entered into a Mediation Agreement (Agreement) in which the trial court approved by issuing an Order Approving Mediation Agreement (Mediation Order). Inconsistent with his position at the trial court level, Father now argues that the Mediation Order, rather than the Decree of Paternity, was the final order and that order was valid and enforceable. After a thorough review of the record and applicable law, this Court finds the Mediation Order was not a final appealable order. Therefore, the trial court’s issuance of the Decree of Paternity was the final appealable order. The trial court is AFFIRMED. Opinion by DOWNING, P.J.; PRINCE, V.C.J., and MITCHELL, J., CONCUR. 123,559 – Kayla D. Davis, Petitioner/Appellee, v. Londan J. Davis, Respondent/Appellant. Appeal from the District Court of Grady County, Oklahoma. Honorable Z. Joseph Young, Trial Judge. Respondent/Appellant, Londan J. Davis (“Father”), appeals a Journal Entry of Modification in a child custody proceeding involving K.L.D., a female minor child. Father received a notice of relocation from Petitioner/Appellee, Kayla D. Davis (“Mother”) and he subsequently filed an Objection to Relocation and Motion to Modify Custody. Trial was held over a period of four days. Father claims on appeal the trial court committed numerous errors by denying his objection to relocation and by denying his motion to modify custody. Father primarily claims the trial court failed to consider the best interests of the child because, according to him, Mother’s relocation was designed to thwart his relationship with the parties’ child. After a review of the record and applicable law, we find the trial court committed no reversible errors. The Journal Entry of Modification is AFFIRMED. Opinion by PRINCE, V.C.J.; MITCHELL, J., CONCURS, and BELL, J., (sitting by designation), CONCURS IN RESULT. Oct. 16, 2026
124,267 – Brown’s Funeral Service, Inc., and William Stephens, Petitioners/Appellants, v. Oklahoma Funeral Board, Respondent/Appellee. Appeal from the District Court of Coal County, Oklahoma. Honorable Clay D. Mowdy, Trial Judge. Brown’s Funeral Service, Inc. (Brown’s) and William Stephens (Stephens) (collectively Appellants) appeal from the trial court’s June 23, 2026 Order granting Oklahoma Funeral Board’s (Funeral Board) Motion to Dismiss. Based on our review of the record and applicable law, we find the trial court’s grant of the Motion to Dismiss was not error. Accordingly, we AFFIRM. Opinion by DOWNING, P.J.; PRINCE, V.C.J., and MITCHELL, J., CONCUR. Oct. 16, 2026
Division IV
123,590 – Pheasant Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc., an Oklahoma not for profit corporation, Plaintiff/Appellee, v. Darren Shira, an individual, and Ashley Shira, an individual, Defendants/Appellants. Appeal from the District Court of Oklahoma County, Hon. Anthony L. Bonner, Trial Judge. Defendants Darren and Ashley Shira seek review of the trial court’s Journal Entry filed October 28, 2025, sustaining the motion for summary judgment of Pheasant Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc. The trial court granted summary judgment on certain covenant violations by the Shiras, and entered judgment in the amount of $5,400.00, but expressly reserved any mandatory and prohibitory injunctive relief in connection with a certain vehicle-storage violation. The Shiras further seek review of the trial court’s Journal Entry filed April 16, 2026, in which the court awarded attorney fees and costs and made a final pronouncement regarding mandatory and prohibitory injunctive relief “regarding the number of vehicles, trailers, and/or equipment that may remain on [the Shiras’] Lot,” and found “that 4 vehicles may be stored on the lot, not including what may be stored within the garage attached to the residence.” Based on our review, we affirm the trial court’s October 2025 Journal Entry and its April 2026 Journal Entry. AFFIRMED. Opinion from Court of Civil Appeals, Division IV, by BARNES, J.; BLACKWELL, P.J., and HUBER, J., concur. Oct. 16, 2026
122,525 – Oil Valley Petroleum, LLC; Kingbird Land, LLC; and Michael Holman Dow, Plaintiffs/Appellees, vs. Prairie Oil & Gas, LLC, Defendant/Appellant, and Prairie O&G Holdings, LLC, and Lockmar Resources, LLC, Defendants. Appeal from the District Court of Oklahoma County, Hon. Aletia Haynes Timmons, Trial Judge. Defendant/appellant Prairie Oil & Gas, LLC (Prairie Oil) appeals an order memorializing a jury verdict, which determined that Prairie Oil breached a Purchase and Sale Agreement Prairie Oil entered into with plaintiffs/appellees Oil Valley Petroleum, LLC; Kingbird Land, LLC; and Michael Holman Dow (Plaintiffs). This order also awarded damages to Plaintiffs. Because the order did not dispose of the pending claims against defendants Prairie O&G Holdings, LLC and Lockmar Resources, LLC, it was not an appealable order. Prairie Oil has failed to demonstrate why its appeal from the district court’s order should not be dismissed for lack of a final or otherwise appealable order. For that reason, we must dismiss this appeal. APPEAL DISMISSED. Opinion from Court of Civil Appeals, Division IV, by HUBER, J.; BLACKWELL, P.J., and FISCHER, J. (sitting by designation), concur. Oct. 20, 2026
