Jones, M.D., and Aaron Trachte, M.D., Defendants/Appellees. Appeal from the District Court of Comanche County, Honorable Scott D. Meaders, Trial Judge. Plaintiffs Elizabeth and Brad Mietchen appeal four orders: (1) the order granting the motion to dismiss of Defendants Robert Jones, M.D. and Aaron Trachte, M.D. (Doctors); (2) the order granting Doctors’ motion to dismiss Plaintiffs’ consolidated petition for damages and declaratory relief; (3) the order denying, according to Plaintiffs, their motion to reconsider the dismissal of Doctors; and (4) the order granting the renewed motion for summary judgment of Defendants Memorial Medical Group, Comanche County Memorial Hospital, and Comanche County Memorial Hospital Authority (collectively, Hospital). After review, we affirm the trial court’s decisions granting Doctors’ motion to dismiss and Hospital’s renewed motion for summary judgment. AFFIRMED. 123,352 – Randall L. Nelson and Shelley R. Nelson, Protestants/Appellants, vs. Oklahoma Tax Commission, Respondent/Appellee. Appeal from the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Randall and Shelley Nelson (Protestants) seek review of an order of the Oklahoma Tax Commission which adopted the order of the Administrative Law Judge recommending denial of their protest of adjustments to their 2019 and 2020 Oklahoma tax returns. We are asked to review whether the OTC erred as a matter of law in determining that “[b ]ecause the Qualified Business Income Deduction was not included in Protestants’ federal adjusted gross income, it is not included in their Oklahoma adjusted gross income.” After review, we find no error and affirm the OTC’s order. AFFIRMED. Opinion from Court of Civil Appeals, Division II, by WISEMAN, P.J.; HIXON, C.J., and FISCHER, J., concur. Sept. 22, 2026
