The September issue of the Oklahoma Bar Journal is coming up! This issue will focus on the theme of "Women in Law," including a history of Oklahoma's pioneering women lawyers, Annual Meeting highlights, the Women in Law Conference and more. Be on the lookout!

We want to feature your work in the Oklahoma Bar Journal. "The Back Page" is a space for attorneys to share their creative work. Submit advice or articles related to the legal field, share something transforming or intriguing, or show off your photography skills. Email your submissions of roughly 500 words or high-resolution photos to OBA Communications Director Lori Rasmussen.

We know OBA members are intelligent, compassionate and dedicated to serving their communities and upholding the rule of law. We also know our members have talents that vary widely beyond the practice of law, and we love featuring your creative work in the Oklahoma Bar Journal!

Have you noticed the amazing works on Oklahoma Bar Journal covers lately? Your art or photography could be featured next! Check out the editorial calendar for ideas on themes, though submissions don't have to be law related.

Many software tools have a huge variety of features and options. They are very powerful. But more training is required for more features. Some lawyers prefer simple apps that have more limited functions but accomplish them very well. A solo practitioner often can benefit significantly from implementing a personal productivity app focused on tasks like time-tracking, note-taking, calendaring or project management.

"Top Personal Productivity Apps for Busy Lawyers" is a feature from the editors at Attorney at Work that showcases 10 (well, actually 11) useful personal productivity apps, including some great tips on Google Calendar and the calendar app most of you already have and use from Microsoft 365.
